What do you love about what you do?

I enjoy the firm we are building and the employees I work with. I also enjoy the clients and their diverse nature and having an opportunity to be involved with them as they work thru the daily financial challenges and opportunities of our economy. Public accounting is unique and enjoyable in that you’re afforded an opportunity to work with all walks of life and a vast array of business industries.

What’s your experience?

I’m a Montana native, born and raised in Baker. I attended the University of Montana for 2 years and then moved to Billings in 1991 which has been home ever since. I was first employed in private accounting and worked in the agriculture and automotive dealership industries. I then transferred to public accounting, joining Summers, McNea in 1999.

What are your career strengths?

I have a particular interest and strength in agriculture, automotive, construction, real estate, food & beverage services, oil & gas services and retail industries, as well as individual wealth and estate planning.

What’s important to you away from the office and what type of activities do you participate?

When I’m not at the office I’m doing anything but sitting down. My wife Chris, daughters Adisyn and Ella are constantly on the move. I enjoy staying involved with family and children activities. As a Montana native I enjoy the outdoors and all the opportunities it affords.
